Home / Boarding
Boarding is at the heart of school life.
Over 100 boarders aged 5 to 13 live in houses at the centre of our grounds — a real home from home.
A home from home, in the middle of school.
It is our boarding structure that allows us to be the distinctive school we are: creative, imaginative and above all caring. Our boarding houses sit at the centre of the campus, so learning, play and living entwine rather than being kept apart.
Children and their families choose from a range of options: weekly boarding, flexi-boarding and occasional boarding for day children.
Weekly boarding is the most sought after. Our school bus services give children the chance to travel home on a Friday and return on the Monday morning bus — quality time with family, a proper recharge, and a ready start to the week.
We aim to make boarding as warm and homely as possible, and our care goes well beyond the obvious practical needs. It is the small things that make the difference: a matron who notices, a quiet word at the right moment, a routine that feels safe.
